assurance, Ernst & Young LLP is given the Chapter Service Award. Rodalyn May G. Marquez, audit supervisor, Office of Public Accountability, is given the Chapter Education Award. Barbara S. Howard, chief financial officer, Tokio Marine Pacific Insurance is given the Community Service Award. Artemio Ricardo Aguon Hernandez, budget analyst, Office of Finance and Budget-Guam Legislature is given the Emerging Leader Award.

She graduated with a bachelor's in marketing and communications from the University of San Francisco. She has been working within the marketing and advertising industry on Guam for more than three years.

The Philippine Consulate General of Guam reports to the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila that the Quezon City government renewed its Sister City Agreement with the government of Guam during a ceremony held at Government House on July 12.

Norio Miyago joins Bank of Hawaii as vice president and corporate banking officer in the West Pacific Corporate Banking Department. Prior to joining the bank, Miyago was a vice president and branch manager in retail and business banking at California Bank & Trust. Miyago holds a bachelor's in business administration/ business management from Texas Christian University.

Mark Tokito is promoted from vice president and corporate banking officer in the West Pacific Corporate Banking Department of Bank of Hawaii to vice president and manager in the same department. Tokito started at the bank in 1985 as a management trainee, and re-joined the bank in 2006 as a corporate banking officer. He holds a bachelor's of business administration/finance from the University of Hawaii.

The Guam Tourism Foundation elects its board of directors to serve a one-year term on July 26. James Herbert II, general manager of Triple J Five Star Wholesale has been elected chairman. Rolenda Faasuamalie, airport marketing administrator for the A.B. Won Pat International Airport Guam is elected vice chairwoman. Joann Camacho, general manager of the Guam Visitors Bureau is elected secretary and Bruce Kloppenburg, president of Kloppenburg Enterprises Inc. is elected treasurer.

David Beaver, vice president and wealth management advisor, Merrill Lynch is elected chairman; Erlinda Alegre, senior vice president retail and operations manager, Bank of Hawaii is elected vice chairwoman; Lee Vensel, partner, Deloitte is re-elected treasurer; and Amier Younis, publisher, Marianas Variety – Guam is elected secretary.

The U.S. Postal Service names Frank Santos as its new Honolulu district manager. He replaces Daryl Ishizaki, who retired Aug. 1 after six years in that position.

Shawn Gumataotao joins GET LLC as managing partner on Aug. 7. Gumataotao previously worked as a federal government
account executive for the Building Efficiency Unit North America for Johnson Controls Incorp. Gumataotao also served as deputy
chief of staff to former Gov. Felix P. Camacho. He had been a television news anchor, reporter and videographer for KGET-TV NBC and KBAK-TV ABC in Bakersfield, Calif., and Guam Cable TV News and KUAM-TV. He holds a bachelor's in psychology and communications from California State University Bakersfield.

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle (Seattle Bank) names First Hawaiian Bank, as the recipient of its 2012 Community Spirit Award.

His career with Hyatt hotels began at Hyatt Regency Incheon from 2003 to 2011 where he was bar manager, banquet manager, assistant director of food and beverage, and director of food and beverage.

photo reviewGenta Yoshikawa joins Hyatt Regency Guam as director of rooms. In 1996 Genta earned a degree in hotel management from Yakima Valley Community College in Washington. He has since worked in rooms divisions at various hotels throughout Japan, and joined Hyatt hotels as a reservations manager for Park Hyatt Tokyo in 2002. Following his stint at Park Hyatt Tokyo, Genta worked as front office manager of The Peninsula Tokyo from 2008 through 2012.

Norman Wang, general manager of China Airlines returns to Taipei after three and a half years of duty on Guam. Wang is replaced by Wei-Tsy Cheng who will serve as the new station manager of China Airlines on Guam.

photo reviewBank of Guam announces the promotion of Reanna R Cruz to vice president/loan adjustment manager. Cruz was hired by the bank in 2002 as a management trainee. On successful completion of the management training program, Cruz was promoted to pro-ssistant cashier, underwriting consumer loan credits for the Bank's Retail Banking Group. In 2004, Cruz was assigned to the Commercial Banking Group where she was promoted to assistant cashier and then assistant vice president. In 2011, Cruz was promoted to assistant vice president/loan adjustment manager.

The UOG Endowment Foundation elects directors and officers on Aug. 8. David J. John, president and director of asset management of ASC Trust Corp., is chairman of the board; former Gov. Joseph F. Ada is vice chairman; George Chiu, executive vice president of Tan Holdings Corp., is treasurer; and UOG President Robert A. Underwood is executive secretary.

Coast360 Federal Credit Union announces the promotion of Patrick Oliva, Coast360's former loan manager, to Member Service Center manager for its Tamuning Center. Prior to joining Coast360, Oliva was a managing director for GTA. He has more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry — working for First Hawaiian Bank, Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corp. Ltd., and First Savings and Loan Association of America.
